Vahan Mikayelyan founded Paradigma Law, APC in July 2026 with a commitment to providing thoughtful, determined, and personalized representation to individuals navigating some of life’s most challenging circumstances. He understands that an injury, insurance dispute, or housing problem can create significant uncertainty, often at a time when clients need clear guidance and a strong advocate most.
Mr. Mikayelyan approaches each client relationship with careful preparation, open communication, and genuine respect for the individual behind every legal matter. He strives to help clients understand their rights and options, make informed decisions, and pursue meaningful results. His practice includes personal injury, insurance bad faith, landlord-tenant, and class action litigation. His practice also includes representing individuals and consumers in claims involving defective products, unsafe conditions, and other forms of wrongdoing.
Before founding Paradigma Law, APC, Mr. Mikayelyan practiced as an associate attorney at Haffner Law. During his time there, he developed extensive experience representing consumers in personal injury, insurance bad faith, product liability, and class action litigation, including matters involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, unsafe premises, defective products, and insurer misconduct.
Prior to practicing law in California, Mr. Mikayelyan spent more than four years with the Human Rights Defender’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, where he advised individuals regarding the protection of their rights and freedoms and analyzed national legislation in light of international human rights standards. His experience working directly with individuals seeking protection of their rights continues to shape his commitment to accessible, attentive, and client-focused legal representation.
Mr. Mikayelyan earned his LL.B. from Yerevan State University in 2014, his LL.M. from the American University of Armenia in 2017, and his LL.M. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2020. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in May 2021 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California; the Eastern District of Michigan; and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Eighth Circuits.
Mr. Mikayelyan is affiliated with the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Armenian Bar Association.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Mikayelyan enjoys traveling, watching movies, and exploring new places and experiences.
